A belt of power is a type of magical belt that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack. It has a randomized appearance when unidentified, and its base material depends on that appearance—the default one associated with it is a "segmented belt", which is made of iron.
Generation
The belt of power makes up roughly 1⁄6 of all belts that are randomly generated.
Description
A hero that puts on a belt of power will have their strength set to 25. The belt cannot be enchanted by a scroll of enchant armor or similar magical effects.
