A chromatic dragon, D, is a type of monster that appears in the data of EvilHack. The chromatic dragon is a placeholder monster used for the dragon scales dropped by Tiamat. Chromatic dragons are thick-skinned carnivorous dragons that can see invisible, and will seek out gold, gems and magical items to pick up.
A chromatic dragon has two randomized breath weapons, have a strong bite attack, two claw attacks and an engulfing attack that digests its victims. Chromatic dragons possess the resistances of all dragons: fire resistance, shock resistance, cold resistance, sleep resistance, disintegration resistance, poison resistance, acid resistance, drain resistance, magic resistance, and reflection.
A chromatic dragon corpse is poisonous to eat, and eating a chromatic dragon corpse or tin increases the strength of several partial intrinsic properties.
Generation
Chromatic dragons are not generated, though they are flagged to always be hostile, and are not a valid form for polymorph.
