Drow Healer quest
In dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack, the Drow Healer quest is much different from the role's standard quest, and pits a Drow Healer hero against Blibdoolpoolp, graven-into-flesh for the Bell of Opening and Esscooahlipboourrr.

Monsters
Random monsters on this Quest are generated with the following frequencies:
Sea monsters can be randomly generated in the waters of the quest branch after level creation, and the following changes to monsters are also applied in comparison to the NetHack quest.
Plague victims
Victims of a plague that inflicts life drain can be encountered throughout the quest branch, as described in the quest's text: the kuo toa's collective hallucinatory powers are manifesting an avatar of their deity Blibdoolpoolp into reality, and that avatar is drawing an immense amount of life energy to stabilize. Plague victims are always generated as peaceful, and will be unable to move or attack due to their illness. The hero can cure plague victims either by casting the full healing spell or by applying the Staff of Aesculapius at them. Cured plague victims will become tame—a player should be mindful of the pet limit when healing plague victims in order to avoid un-taming any desired pets.
Each level has a number of plague victims scattered around the level at locations marked below, and they are usually atop beds or bedrolls.
