A goedendag is a type of club that appears in dNetHack, notnotdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. It is a medium-sized blunt weapon that has a base-material of wood. It appears as a spike-topped club when unidentified.
The artifacts Fire Brand and Frost Brand may be re-shaped into goedendags by dipping them into forges and fountains, respectively.
Generation
Goedendag make up 1⁄1000 of all randomly generated weapons, and may be wished for.
Description
At Skilled and Expert skill, goedendags gain the hew, focus fire, stunning strike, and knock back expert traits. Uniquely, goedendags also gain the bleed expert trait and have their attack mask changed to piercing damage while focus fire is active, and has its versus-large damage increased to 1d8.
