The Tie-Dye Shirt of Shambhala is an artifact that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack. It is unaligned, and its base item is a flamboyantly colorful T-shirt.
Description
While worn, the Tie-Dye Shirt of Shambhala alters the wearer's carrying capacity based on its beatitude: it grants a 1⁄2 increase while blessed, a 1⁄4 increase while uncursed, and a 1⁄4 penalty while cursed. The Tie-Dye Shirt of Shambhala also adjusts the wearer's attributes as well depending on their other worn armor, enhancing their charisma by its enchantment if it is worn without a suit of body armor over it and enhancing wisdom if it is worn with body armor over it.
Reading the worn Tie-Dye Shirt of Shambhala can cure status afflictions similar to a unicorn horn, but requires the shirt to be visible, e.g. the hero must not be wearing a suit of armor over it, or else wearing a suit such as crystal plate mail that does not block the shirt's visibility. Invoking the Tie-Dye Shirt of Shambhala grants enlightenment.
