A warbat, B, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. The warbat is a medium-sized carnivorous bat that is capable of flight and can be seen via infravision. Like other bats, they have a tendency to wander while moving.

A warbat has a single bite attack.

Generation

Randomly generated warbats are always created hostile. Small groups of chiropterans are alwats accompanied by a large group of warbats. A battle-bat can grow up into a warbat.

Warbats generated in the future (i.e. the Anachrononaut quest and Android quest) are zombified, and are always generated with plasteel armor.
