搜索戒指（ring of searching）是NetHack中的一种戒指。

生成

巫师在游戏开始时获得的随机戒指中有可能出现搜索戒指。

描述

佩戴时，搜索戒指会赋予玩家自动搜索特质，该特质会使得玩家在每次行动后，自动对所有相邻地块进行一次不消耗行动的搜索。

食用搜索戒指有¹⁄₃的概率获得内在的自动搜索特质。

将搜索戒指扔进水槽会产生一条特殊消息。和大多数其他戒指不同，搜索戒指被扔进水槽后必定不会丢失。

策略

自动搜索特质有助于玩家搜索地牢里的暗门，以及在不触发陷阱的前提下发现陷阱。由于自动搜索特质对于大多数角色而言无法作为内在特质获取，搜索戒指的实用性较高。如果玩家使用的是能够通过提升经验等级获得自动搜索的角色，或是使用誓约胜利之剑作为主武器，那么就可以忽略搜索戒指。

历史

搜索戒指最初于Jay Fenlason's Hack的衍生作品Hack 1.21出现，也是Hack 1.0中最初加入游戏的物品之一。

SLASH'EM

In SLASH'EM, Flame Mages, Ice Mages, Necromancers, and Wizards may be given a ring of searching as the random ring in their starting inventory.

EvilHack

In EvilHack, giant heroes that are given a ring of stealth as a random ring in their starting inventory (i.e. giant Wizards) will have it replaced with a ring of searching. This also applies to Hack'EM.

SlashTHEM

In SlashTHEM, in addition to SLASH'EM details, Acid Mages, Corsairs, Electric Mages, Nobles, and Pirates may be given a ring of searching as the random ring in their starting inventory.
