Cassilda the Iron Maiden, @, is a unique monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack and the quest leader for the Madman quest. She is a strong, omnivorous, human that can be seen via infravision. Cassilda is a humanoid monster and will pick up magical items and other objects that she comes across.
Cassilda the Iron Maiden has two strong weapon attacks, and will attempt to cast a psionic mage monster spell during each of her turns.
Generation
Cassilda the Iron Maiden is not a valid polymorph form or genocide target.
Cassilda the Iron Maiden is always generated on the true home level of the Madperson quest, where she is secluded behind a cage of iron bars.
Cassilda the Iron Maiden always generates with the following set of cursed iron items, all of which are colored black: a crystal helm, a cloak, a straitjacket, victorian underwear, a pair of gauntlets of fumbling, a pair of shackles that she is chained to, two pairs of living and self-poisoning shackles.

Cassilda the Iron Maiden has her roots in Cassilda, Queen of Carcosa, as she appears in the Pathfinder adventure "Strange Aeons".
