A dark elven arrow is a type of weapon that appears in SLASH'EM, SpliceHack and SlashTHEM. It is a stackable projectile that is designed for use with a dark elven bow, and uses the bow skill. It is made of wood, and appears as a black runed arrow when unidentified.

Generation

Drow characters start the game with knowledge of the dark elven arrow. Drow Rangers start the game with a dark elven bow and two stacks of dark elven arrows in place of the role's standard bow and arrows.[1]

Drow in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM and SpliceHack always generate with a dark elven bow and 3-14 dark elven arrows.[2]

SLASH'EM

In SLASH'EM, dark elven arrows are not randomly generated. Upgrading regular arrows has a 13 chance of producing dark elven arrows.[3]

SpliceHack

In SpliceHack, dark elven arrows are not randomly generated, and normally-generated dark elven arrows are always created drugged.

SlashTHEM

In SlashTHEM, dark elven arrows can be randomly generated like other weapons, and general stores, used armor dealerships and antique weapon outlets can sell dark elven arrows. Upgrading works the same as in SLASH'EM.

Description

The dark elven arrow is nearly identical to the elven arrow minus its appearance, and has the same damage versus small and large monsters.

Upgrading dark elven arrows will produce regular arrows.[4]
