Celeborn:
| |
Celeborn, @, is one of the quest leaders for the Elvish Racial quest in dNetHack, notdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. He is a strong elven man that performs his role of quest leader alongside Galadriel—like her and other elves, Celeborn can see invisible, can be seen via infravision, has low-light vision that extends 3 squares, and will occasionally pick up items that he comes across. Celeborn is capable of tracking the hero via sight and scent, and like other quest leaders he will allow the hero to come close unless he is attacked. Celeborn has 4 points of AC in the 'dodge' category and 2 in the 'special' category.
Celeborn has three weapon attacks. He has expert prowess in martial combat, and possesses sleep resistance and a weakness to iron.
Eating Celeborn's corpse or tin or else quaffing his blood grants permanent sleep resistance, though this is cannibalism for an elven hero.
Generation
Celeborn is always generated peaceful. He is not a valid polymorph form or genocide target, and figurines or statues of him cannot be generated or wished for.
Celeborn is placed on the adjacent square south of Galadrial within the central structure of the Elvish Racial quest home level during level creation.
Celeborn is always generated with a blessed +7 wrathful high-elven warsword, a blessed +7 elven mithril-coat, a blessed fireproof +3 elven cloak, a blessed erosion-proofed +3 high-elven helm, and a blessed fireproof +3 pair of elven boots.
