Generation
Droven greatswords are not randomly generated. Drow heroes start with knowledge of the droven greatsword, and hedrow Priests start with a non-cursed droven greatsword.
Several drow can be generated with droven greatswords:
- Hedrow blademasters always generate with a +4 droven greatsword that has a 3⁄4 chance of being sleep-poisoned, and will otherwise be paralysis-poisoned.
- Y-cultist fighters and other drow that do not have a defined starting inventory have an effective 1⁄12 chance of generating with a droven greatsword.
- Y-cultist patrons always generate with a +4 droven greatsword that has a 1⁄4 chance of being sickness-poisoned, a 1⁄2 chance of being sleep-poisoned, and a 1⁄4 chance of being paralysis-poisoned.
- Dokkalfar eternal matriarchs in the Anachrononaut quest are generated with a cursed +9 shadowsteel droven greatsword that is unholy, wrathful and faded.
- Deminymphs that are randomly generated outside of the Drow Healer quest or the Lost Cities have an effective 1⁄320 chance of being given a madperson kit with a droven greatsword that has an enchantment of +2 to +4, a 1⁄100 chance of being mercurial and a 1⁄20 chance of being made into an artifact.
