A jumpsuit is a type of body armor that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack. It has a base-material of plastic and appears as a set of silvery clothes when unidentified.
Generation
2 uncursed +0 jumpsuits are generated in the bottom right storage room inside the bastion on the Anachrononaut quest home level. The Android quest home level contains no jumpsuits.
Jumpsuits are not randomly generated, and a hero who isn't a Tourist cannot wish for them, though they may still be found in bones.
Elf Anachrononauts start each game with an uncursed +2 jumpsuit.
Several monsters can be generated with a jumpsuit.
- Male myrkalfr are always generated with a jumpsuit.
- Elven monsters generated in the future during level creation are always given a jumpsuit. Elven monsters that are randomly generated in the future only have a 1⁄200 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- Humans generated in the future are always generated with a jumpsuit.
- parasitized gynoids have a 1⁄9 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- parasitized androids have a 1⁄6 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- parasitized operators have a 1⁄12 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- operators have a 1⁄12 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- For Incantifier Kensei, gray fungal towers generated in the Kensei quest during level creation have a 1⁄6 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
- baelnorns generated in the future are always created with a [Object properties#UnholyO|unholy]] healing mithril jumpsuit with an enchantment ranging from +3 to +6.
- incantifiers generated in the future have a 1⁄3 chance of being generated with a jumpsuit.
Description
While worn, a jumpsuit grants 0 base AC and 1 DR to all slots, and takes five actions to wear or take off. Wearing a jumpsuit grants reflection and MC3. As light armor, wearing a jumpsuit grants an AC bonus equal to (dexterity - 11)2 (rounded down).
Imperial elven armor can be repaired with a jumpsuit to restore its reflective capabilities.
