A dark elven dagger is a type of weapon that appears in EvilHack. It is a stackable one-handed weapon that can be wielded in melee and thrown, and uses the dagger skill. It is made of adamantine, and appears as an etched dagger when unidentified.
Generation
Drow characters start the game with knowledge of the dark elven dagger, and any drow character in a role that starts the game with one or more daggers will receive the same amount of dark elven daggers.
Drow soldiers and watchmen have a 1⁄3 chance of generating with a dark elven dagger paired with a dark elven hand crossbow and dark elven crossbow bolts, and non-undead drow have a 1⁄2 chance of generating with a dark elven dagger, with the exception of drow clerics.
A dark elven dagger can be created at a forge by combining 2 dark elven arrows and 2 dark elven crossbow bolts while the forge square is darkened.
Description
A dark elven dagger can be used at a forge to create several of items:
- A dark elven dagger can be combined with 2 dark elven crossbow bolts while the forge is darkened to create a dark elven short sword.
- A dark elven dagger can be combined with 2 dark elven arrows while the forge is darkened to create a dark elven spear.
- A dark elven dagger can be combined with a dark elven short sword while the forge is darkened to create a dark elven broadsword.
- 2 dark elven daggers can be combined while the forge is darkened to create a dark elven mace.
- A dark elven dagger can be combined with a dark elven mace to create dark elven bracers.
