The following information pertains to an upcoming version (NetHack 3.7.0). If this version is now released, please verify that it is still accurate, then update the page to incorporate this information.

Themed rooms are a type of rare room that appear in NetHack, based on the 'random vaults' of UnNetHack. Some themed rooms are simply unusual shapes, while others have contents unlike those that appear anywhere else. Some themed rooms can be further transformed into other special rooms.
