Elemental (monster attribute)

Elemental is a form of monster attribute that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack, and is defined by the MA_ELEMENTAL monster attribute flag in monst.c.
Description
Elemental beings are inorganic monsters that lack innards and are incapable of becoming undead. They are immune to the screaming status caused by various effects, e.g. attacks that inflict intense pain.
Hostile elemental beings are vulnerable to the Nurturing Word of Creation, whose active power deals (XL2)d12 damage to them.
Elemental beings will generally be peaceful towards a githzerai hero.
Claideamh warns of elemental beings while wielded, and has +1d5 to-hit and double damage bonuses against them. Gaia's Fate warns of elemental beings while carried, and has +1d10 to-hit and +1d20 damage bonuses against them along with a 1⁄10 chance of canceling them on each hit (subject to MR score).
