描述

策略
传送控制戒指是很实用的装备，若能够和传送症特质以及地层传送手段配合则更为强大。拥有传送控制戒指时玩家能够更安全地食用天狗的尸体，而不用担心传送症给自己带来麻烦，同时也有机会得到内在传送控制。在游戏中后期，利用传送控制和传送手段，玩家能够更轻松高效地探索葛汉诺姆。因此，拥有多余许愿机会的玩家有时会考虑用许愿获取传送控制戒指。
鉴定
传送控制戒指的基础价是300 zm，和变形戒指相同，因此靠佩戴鉴定有一定风险。
鉴定传送控制戒指的手段一般是戴上戒指后对自身发动传送效果，你可以利用传送陷阱、传送卷轴和传送魔杖等手段。如果有多个同类戒指，利用水槽鉴定也可以。

In SLASH'EM, Flame Mages, Ice Mages, Necromancers, and Wizards may be given a ring of teleport control as the random ring in their starting inventory.[4][5][6][7]
dNetHack
In dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack, a ring of teleport control can be used to repair the teleportation control subsystem of an imperial elven helm, granting teleport control while the helm is worn.
NetHack Fourk
In NetHack Fourk, two of the new final level maps for the Fourk version of Sokoban have a sack which contains a ring of teleport control alongside a ring of polymorph control and a third random ring—if a hero already has either of the the first two rings at the time of level creation, other jewellery may appear in its place.

In EvilHack, the Rat King has a 2⁄3 chance of generating with a ring of teleport control. This is to make navigating his lair in the Sewers of Waterdeep variant of Mines' End much less difficult, as it has various sections that can only be reached by teleporting.
SlashTHEM
In SlashTHEM, in addition to SlashTHEM details, Acid Mages, Corsairs, Electric Mages, Nobles, and Pirates may be given a ring of teleport control as the random ring in their starting inventory, unless the hero is a nymph.
Hack'EM
In Hack'EM, the Rat King is relocated to the lair of his counterpart from SLASH'EM, which is in the main branch of the dungeon, but retains the 2⁄3 chance of generating with a ring of teleport control as in EvilHack.
