Scare
Scaring monsters instead of attacking them or running away can be useful in many cirumstances. The following methods can be used to scare monsters; each has its own set of requirements and limitations.
Note this table does not describe every nuance of each method; see the pages of the individual methods for full details.

Apply a drum of earthquake | Affects entire level when charged. Works as leather drum once charges are used. | Creates an earthquake when charged. Awakens sleeping monsters. Monsters with non-zero magic resistance can resist. |
