Gnome warrior

A gnome warrior, G, is a type of monster that appears in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM and Hack'EM. The gnome warrior is an always-male monster that is part of the gnome monster class, and is nearly identical to the gnome king of NetHack 3.4.3—the only tangible difference is that the former are not considered overlords to their kind, meaning that their weapons are not guaranteed to be a minimum of +1 and they do not receive a multishot bonus.

In SLASH'EM, gnome warriors are not considered gnomish despite their similarities to gnome kings, meaning that a gnomish hero eating or sacrificing one will not incur any penalties. In SlashTHEM and Hack'EM, they are properly flagged as gnomish monsters.

A gnome warrior has a single weapon attack, and hits as a +1 weapon.

Generation

Gnome warriors may generate as peaceful towards neutral heroes, gnomish heroes and dwarven heroes. While they are flagged as only randomly generating in Gehennom, their low difficulty prevents them from actually appearing there. A gnome lord can grow up into a gnome warrior.[1]

Eleven hostile gnome warriors are placed on the mine king level during level creation, and sometimes-hostile warriors can appear on other levels that generate G during level creation if the difficulty is appropriate.

Gnome warriors have a 12 chance of being generated with one of the seven default weapon sets, with an equal probability of each:[2] 3-14 darts, a crossbow and 3-14 crossbow bolts, a bow and 3-14 arrows, a stack of 3-5 daggers, an aklys, a short sword, or a club.

Gnome warriors are eligible for offensive items, defensive items, and miscellaneous items.
