The clairvoyant changed, h, is a unique monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. The clairvoyant changed is a female humanoid that is the result of the Anachrononaut quest leaderSara, the Last Oracle–being irreversibly changed by the influence of the Far Realms and fused together with several of the other denizens of the Last Bastion: she is simultaneously human, elven, dwarven, orcish, gnomish, drow, and demihuman. Seeing the clairvoyant changed will raise a hero's insight and lower their sanity (and Anachrononauts start the game with the veil lifted).

The clairvoyant changed has 109 points of AC in the protection category. The clairvoyant changed can see invisible, possesses monster detection and omni-sense, can be seen via infravision, and has extramission which grants perfect vision in both lit and unlit areas. She is mindless, unbreathing, capable of swimming, possesses enhanced regeneration, and can follow a hero to other levels if she is adjacent. The clairvoyant changed cannot be made tame, and will turn traitor if somehow tamed.

The clairvoyant changed has a weapon attack, an acidic touch attack, the ability to cast one psionic monster spell with no cooldown during each of her turns, and a passive attack that fires magic missiles at anyone attacking her in melee for damage based on that attacker's experience level or monster level. She can also emit highly-damaging mind blasts with a 13 chance each turn. The clairvoyant changed has expert skill in martial combat and a full base attack bonus of +1 to-hit per level, and also possesses magic resistance and every other form of elemental resistance property—she has resistance to blunt damage, and possesses a vulnerability to iron due to being elven.

Like other changed, the clairvoyant changed requires an isolation suit to exist in the world’s atmosphere: once she is dropped to below roughly 50% of their HP, her normal HP regeneration stops and she begins losing 1 HP each turn while releasing small groups of poison clouds as she moves—this represents a breach in the isolation suit causing her to boil away into poisonous mist. The clairvoyant changed is poisonous to consume due to her nature, and will burst into a plume of poison clouds upon her death. She can be warded by the fully-reinforced Elder Sign.

Generation

The clairvoyant changed is always generated hostile, and will not appear on bones levels. She is not a valid polymorph form or genocide target, and figurines or statues of her cannot be generated or wished for.

The clairvoyant changed is generated asleep in the base at the western end of the Android quest home level, where she is placed in the large pool that is also occupied by an elder brain during level creation—this starting location is the square where Sara, the Last Oracle is normally generated on the Anachrononaut quest home level.

The clairvoyant changed is always generated with a blessed +4 bone lightsaber that has a star sapphire focus gem and possesses the living, psionic and glittering object properties.

The clairvoyant changed will leave behind three stacks of human eyeballs alongside her corpse: a pair of eyeballs that are made into artifacts each known as The Eye of the Oracle, and two separate stacks each of four eyeballs and 14 eyeballs. Of note is that The Eyes of the Oracle will always be created as unidentified.
