• m represents a mimic (when it is not disguised as something else):
  • m small mimic
  • m large mimic
  • m giant mimic

• M represents a mummy:
  • M kobold mummy
  • M gnome mummy
  • M orc mummy
  • M dwarf mummy
  • M elf mummy
  • M human mummy
  • M ettin mummy
  • M giant mummy

• Press m, then press a direction to move your character without doing any other actions such as attacking a monster or displacing a pet. Even if autopickup is on, using m causes you not to pick up anything. It will also stop you hitting Is, and will even stop you feeling items on the floor if blind, such as a cockatrice corpse. Beware: you will hit a warning symbol, and potentially become a statue if it's a cockatrice. You will also still attack a monster engulfing you.
• Press m, to pick up items off the floor using a menu, even if you're using menustyle:traditional.
• Press Shift + M, then press a direction to move your character as far as they can go in that direction. The character will not stop at items or corridor forks. See the article on movement for a comparison to other movement prefixes.
