Hack 1.0 moves the lurker above to the tilde glyph, ~, and Hack 1.0.1 moves it back to ', where it remains from this version to NetHack 2.3e. In NetHack 3.0.0, the golems are introduced and the lurker above is moved to t with the trapper.
