The following is a list of artifacts in SLASH'EM, including those present in vanilla nethack. Note that some of the general artifact behaviors have been changed. In particular:
- Artifacts which in vanilla inflict a random amount of extra damage (Excalibur for example) in SLASH'EM always inflict the maximum. This makes them much more useful in general. This is true of to-hit bonuses as well.
- Artifacts which do their damage against a particular type of monster (Sting for example) also have a 15% chance of canceling said monsters.
- It is possible for roles to have more than one guaranteed artifact gift. They will always be given in the same order.
Some of the individual artifacts have been changed as well. For example, the Sceptre of Might now only inflicts an extra 5 damage on cross-aligned monsters, instead of double damage.

- ↑ The hero's quest artifact and any guaranteed sacrifice gifts are adjusted to the hero's starting alignment. For example, for a wizard who starts chaotic, Magicbane, Deluder and The Eye of the Aethiopica are generated chaotic. See Source:SLASH'EM 0.0.7E7F2/artifact.c#line56.
